Hi everyone. It has been a while since I made my last posting. This is my first posting for 2009. We went to A Slice of New York pizza. Oh how NY pizza brings back memories! When I was five, my sister and I would go down to this great little pizzeria in Queens. My mom's work was next door. My sister and I must have looked sooo cute! We ordered one pizza cut in half with and a sprite with two straws. These authentic pizza slices were huge!

I am not sure it is because I am older or because the slices were really that big, I'd have to say that "A Slice of New York Pizza" almost does it right. It is the closest thing I have found in Raleigh to NY pizza. It only takes four 5 or so bucks to get one nicely sized pizza
and a drink to fill me up. That's really nice tag for going out ot eat. However, they don't just serve pizza. They have a nice selection of items on the menu. You can order different kinds of pasta, salads, and dessert. I find it all quite satisfiying.

I ordered a slice of the stuffed meat pizza and a slice of the garden vegetable pizza.
I was too full to finish the stuffed meat pizza. It was all yummy.

The ambiance is that of a fast food pizza joint, narrow cozy and small - just the way I like it. The service is very friendly and accomidating. I reccomend this place if you have a tight budget and don't feel like spending over 10 bucks for a hearty lunch.

Until next time, cheers!
